From the Crash to the Cash
Gladys Orta Rodriguez founded Orta Law, PLLC, with a singular mission: to provide the high-stakes results of a large firm with the direct, personal accessibility of a boutique office.
For over 9 years, Gladys has specialized in personal injury, navigating the complexities of insurance litigation in both Florida and Illinois. Unlike "settlement mills" where clients are passed off to file managers, Gladys maintains a direct line of communication with every client she represents.
"I saw too many families in our community get signed by a big firm, only to never hear from their lawyer again. I built Orta Law to be the fighter that actually answers the phone."
When you hire Orta Law, you are hiring a litigator—someone who isn't afraid to take your case to court to ensure the insurance company pays the absolute maximum policy limit.
Gladys Orta Rodriguez, Esq.
Managing Partner
Gladys Orta Rodriguez is a dedicated personal injury attorney, entrepreneur, and advocate whose journey reflects resilience, determination, and an unwavering commitment to helping others.
Born in Cuba, Gladys is the daughter of immigrant parents who came to the United States with little more than a pocket full of dreams. Their sacrifice and work ethic instilled in her the drive to build a meaningful career rooted in service and advocacy.
While pursuing her education, Gladys worked multiple jobs in retail, an experience that shaped her strong foundation in customer service and client care—values that remain at the core of her legal practice today. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from Florida International University.
Gladys went on to attend St. Thomas University School of Law, where she gained hands-on experience as an intern at the State Attorney’s Office in the Criminal Division. During law school, she also worked as a personal injury case manager, giving her early, practical insight into the complexities of injury claims and client representation.
After passing the Florida Bar in 2019, Gladys spent two years in litigation, actively handling personal injury cases and taking them through the court process. With over nine years of experience in personal injury law, she has built a reputation for aggressively advocating for her clients and maximizing the value of their cases.
Gladys has expanded her legal practice beyond Florida and is also licensed to practice law in Illinois, further expanding her ability to advocate for injured individuals. Outside of her legal career, Gladys is a devoted wife and proud mother of two daughters. When she is not zealously fighting for her clients, she enjoys traveling the world and creating meaningful memories with her family.
